I do not recall
Which is really better;
The sunrise sparkling
In your morning eyes
Or Desire’s dewdrops set
Upon your midnight lips.
But I do remember
Your love and its size
And the nectar
Of my soul it sips.
But then again, I have to wonder,
Between the nectar and dew,
Which is really most unfettered
And which is,
Really,
I or you.
