We work with numbers every day.
Adding with some
And with others,
Taking away.
That's the way it is
In the body politic;
Every sense becoming
A fervent swell
Or virtual loss,
And as time may tell.
So true is love then;
Either like the whole of numbers
Or else,
Something that encumbers.
