About Nick Lantz
Nick Lantz is an American poet. He is the author of four books of poetry, We Don’t Know We Don’t Know (2010), The Lightning That Strikes the Neighbors’ House (2010), How to Dance as the Roof Caves In (2014), and You, Beast (2017). His poetry has also appeared in many journals such as Copper Nickel, Gettysburg Review, Gulf Coast, jubilat, Pleiades, New England Review, and Southern Review.He is the recipient of fellowships from The National Endowment for the Arts, The Bread Loaf Writers Conference, and the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and numerous awards, including the Brittingham Prize, the Felix Pollak Prize, the Bakeless Prize, the Larry Levis Reading Prize, and the Great Lakes Colleges Association New Writers Award. He has taught creative writing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Gettysburg College, Franklin & Marshall College, Queens University's Low-Residency MFA, and Sam Houston State University, where he is also editor of the Texas Review.
