What you need to know
and what they won't tell you
Is that love is a thing that you do
not just something done to you
That the things you demand
can be met with equal expectations
That the love you will be given
will not be perfect
And neither will the love you give
That all fairytales have happy endings
But not all loves
That it is the love after the happy ending
that makes a life
