by Antimony
Sometimes the words pour,
Neverending senseless streams.
Like tears shed by a widow,
By a son for a lost father,
A child for a broken home,
By love for the power of hate,
By hate for the power of love.
Sometimes words come together
To tell a story that lasts forever,
Like the legends that are,
The religions that save,
The stories that burn.
The war between words
can never be tamed.
Words fight for the right,
The right to spell out a story,
To forgive,
to hate,
to love.
To reveal what no one else knows.
To hide what others want to find.
To feel the power of words flowing,
Pouring,
streaming,
flying,
escaping.
Freedom.
Words can give you.
Freedom.
Words can take away.
Love for words,
words for love
Contradiction,
conspiracy
Words can be lethal.
The wild, untamed
Caress them, hold them,
feel them.
Words.
Too much.
Too little.
A gift from within.
Accept.
Use.
Take.
Lose.
Find.
Neverending.
Senseless.
Streams.
