for awhile ---
maybe 20 years now

Keeps me satisfied
with erotic rendezvous

Always there
Never questions

nor accusations.
Just sweet bliss

Intellectual stimulation
fills the daily schedule

Trying to pass the hours
with embellishments

that delight in desire
for her company

She tantalizes
entices with glee

mesmerizes with an heir
of stupefying complacency

seduces with phrases ---
pages of creativity

A relationship that baffles
has me grasping

for more.
