Light of the Soul

The day was great
And the sun was burning.
Slowly night fell....
Darkness did prevail.

What happened next,
How do i tell?
I think, i was lost and...
Was like in a hell.

A ray of light then,
Led me to mu goal.
And now do i realize,
It was the light of my soul.
