Words Unspoken

by Mark Olynyk

the art of words unspoken
on the stage composing
paper statements.

poetic speculation selling dreams
to paradise.

a waxing moon passing over seasons
witches hold a séance
summoning ghosts.

Atlas is sagging
weighed down with regret.

the joy of heroes diminished by sorrow
a telling commentary on quixotic quests
and risky ventures.

as round table knights
drink from the grail
reviving in the water.
