About Louise Mathias
Louise Mathias is the author of Lark Apprentice, which was chosen by Brenda Hillman for the New Issues Poetry Prize and was published by New Issues Press in 2004. Her chapbook, Above All Else, the Trembling Resembles a Forest, won the Burnside Review Chapbook contest and is just out from Burnside Review Press. Her second full length collection, The Traps, is forthcoming from Four Way Books. Recent poems appear in journals such as Barrow Street, Ninth Letter, Triquarterly, and Third Coast.
