About Joanna Klink
Joanna Klink is the author of five books of poetry. Her poems have appeared in many anthologies, most recently Resistance, Rebellion, Life: 50 Poems Now and The Penguin Anthology of Twentieth Century Poetry. The Nightfields (Penguin Books, 2020). Her other poetry collections include Excerpts from a Secret Prophecy (Penguin Books, 2015), Raptus (Penguin Books, 2010), Circadian (Penguin Books, 2007), and They Are Sleeping (University of Georgia Press, 2000).She has received awards and fellowships from the Rona Jaffe Foundation, Jeannette Haien Ballard, Civitella Ranieri, the Bogliasco Foundation, the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Trust of Amy Lowell, and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. Her fifth book, The Nightfields, was published by Penguin in July 2020. She teaches at the Michener Center for Writers in Austin, Texas.
