When I step in,
I enter your town.
Coloured bangles everywhere
breaking with your laughter.
Tall trees with fruit low laden,
waiting for your hands.
Your eyes move
with the speed
of changing traffic lights.
Rather not step in now,
I’ll take the other road
In sadness,
downtown.
