Life is strange and nature stranger to wonder why injustice strives,
Those who love the absent presence hurt deeper for their lack of pride,
Solace from my blood in veins that cradled memory in her arms,
Tonight our world seemed less a picture unsafe from life’s never ending harm,
Perhaps a word, a smile, a tear, knowledge promised evermore,
Then maybe tonight was yesterday last week the week before…..
Peaceful sleep surrounds your laughter years spent in memory held,
Love holds you ever after hearts torn will be unveiled.
