About Chasity Gunn
Chasity Gunn in an African American poet who serves as the inaugural Poet Laureate of Elgin, 2019-2020) in Illinois. She is the author of How to Create a World and a forth coming chapbook, Wash Your Hands. Her work has been published in the BitterZoet and Rock, Paper, Scissors. She was a featured artist in the Bedlam Theatre’s 10X10 Fest. Gunn frequently participates in readings and workshops across the country. She also teaches writing to college students and adult learners.
