About Anais Deal-Marquez
Anaïs Deal-Marquez is a Mexican-American poet and multidisciplinary artist raised in México and the upper midwest. She just finished the manuscript of her first poetry collection, which looks at memory, displacement, home, healing and migration. She has been published in POETRY Magazine and she is the founder of Border Voices, which uses storytelling and performance to curate shows and conversations that center immigrant and refugee voices of folks of color.
