About Amelia Josephine Burr
Amelia Josephine Burr was a famous contemporary poet. She helped the Red Cross really 1917-18. She married Reverend Carl H. Elmore of Englewood, new Jersey. She was described as a poepular poet, whose writings focuses on genuine poetic feeling and was particularly known to have traveled widely. A contemporary critic commented, Her adventures in the Orient have coloured her work, and with power and attraction she succeeded really getting to know much concerning the natives and their customs wherever she went.
