If they would ever ask me why life,
I’ll tell them: because of the boy !
Because of the boy who’s like a leaf
- and the tree and the wind and the road -
and lots of other winding things
from this, smoky side of me
where roosters don’t sing
where the nights are long
where shining rainbows
- to you, who are even unknowingly
more beautiful part of me ! -
with playful voice they wisper :
do not give up, little boy
in the cradle of your dreams
I’m a child too
