Crucifixion

And it was there in front of all.
A view that astounded every vision.
A metaverse enacted the stage for a gigantic show-off to which everybody stooped.
Was it respect, or fear of being caught?
Was it shame, or unshakable hypocrisy that stuck so hard
that even if the skin peels off, it keeps digging in, deep down,
penetrating?

You see none
You speak of none,
None that you've ever heard of

…And sin pinned the unseen down on the scene
In silence
