My cheeks were gifted
Where her lips printed,
For accepting my love;
I appeared motionless
As she said: ‘I’m yours forever!’
Oh! That was the pleasure
Which I couldn’t measure,
The warmth I felt
And as an ice I did melt,
When she embraced me
There I realized it was we,
The love-dews drizzled in my heart;
As my spirit danced above the sky
And my joys merged into the depth ocean,
Oh! It was the paradise of love!
Then came a day
With an unpleasant way,
To learn on pain
In a distress rain,
Where the same lips of her
Planted its mark on my cheek;
And she conveyed with peek:
‘Forgive me, my dear
I won’t be near, forever
And forget me ever!’
Alas! What could I say?
What could I do?
My soul was murdered!!!
