Sonnet # 13

In sadness deep I at the rose do look
And see it human with tears down her face
And think how badly my heart you so took
And how much your lines quite the rose debase,
For you have a beauty that came from above.
You`re mortal only for one day you`ll die.
At times you look so peaceful, poor the dove!
I felt for you, and now I want to cry.
Oh, you are female, prettiness so high!
You`re water fresh when drunk a different taste.
It`s hard to see how much you eyes do lie.
I can`t believe you skin that looks so chaste.
I lived for beauty; made it my high pride
And cried my heart and mind; oh, cruel ouside!
