at departing sorrows
like confetti
at weddings
or garden parties
with serviette rings
on Saigon Street
clogged with motorcycles
where roosters live and die
unnoticed at funerals
for hired assassins
iconic heroes
in a Broadway musical
based on the theme
of instability
in the Middle East.
