SOLITUDE

by Walter William Safar

Solitude moves in festive silence,
Like the honorable wind,
Like the sovereign of all valleys and mountains,
To accomplish its purpose
From beginning
To end.

Resolutely,
With an almost saintly diligence,
Solitude moves through rain, fog, snow,
And the heat of the sun,
Like man's most faithful friend.

Solitude appears without leaving impressions
In the black soil,
Like a drop of rain,
Which the honorable wind
Brought down from the top of the noble mountain.

On barren graveyards,
In sad speaches,
On thorny roads,
In yellow light
And thick darkness,
Solitude faithfully awaits us.

Solitude and man aren't just one body
And one soul,
But, as life thinks,
Also one voice.

As it usually happens to dreamers,
Far from the eyes of the world,
With reverent and servile obedience,
Solitude awaits each new day,
And travels its dream road
From the beginning
To the end of life.
