Wandering in the valley of lost love,
Wondering in thoughts of last laugh;
Walking through the dark grooves of loneliness,
Talking alone to fill the holes of emptiness;
I try to gather myself together in one piece.
Admiring the beauty of love once shared,
Suffering the pain of love now shattered;
Hiding in the heavy shadows of gloominess,
Riding thru' memories of yesterday's happiness;
I try to gather myself together in one piece.
Shouldering myself in carrying the weight of tragic pain,
Showering in the cold flow of ever reviving chain;
Melting with the thoughts of our sweet togetherness,
Bleeding with the conquest of bitter sickness;
I try to gather myself together in one piece.
Stammering in my narration of unwanted misery,
Remembering each moment which is all but mystery;
Drying like leaves ready to fall with the hurt,
Breaking like twigs, my agony filled heart;
I try to gather myself together in one piece.
But one thing I know that will bring peace:
Try to gather myself together in one piece.
