by B-Miles Jackson
Tarry here in the morning,
The air fresh and clear,
Glistening green grass,
Kissed by the dew.
As the night gives way
To the sun rise,
Stay yourself,
Set your course for the day.
At dawning light,
When the calming stillness
Washes over you,
Let go of doubt - uncertainty.
Be renewed as the new day.
Birds softly singing in the distance,
Hills a shadow in the sun.
Tarry here but a moment more,
'til you can meet the challenges today.
Gain strength knowing
You're not alone.
