We are funny creatures;
Unable to realize we posses the same features.
The same mind; hands;
we are alike and yet feel so different.
We feel we know it all;
We feel we have seen it all;
We claim to have done it all.
We do strange things;
Things that make us feel unique...even special.
Moulded by the same hands;
fresh out of the same kiln.
Yet we are...
we are who we say we are
We're men...
but not a part of mankind.
WELCOME TO MANKIND.
A theme park;
with merry-go-rounds;
roller-coasters and toy trains.
ENTRANCE FEE: LIFE
And yes we do pay that price
A price to feel different;
To have complete control;
only too lose it all..
all to the drug of control.
WELCOME TO MANKIND.
We make mistakes;
sometimes life long ones.
We are all of the same brew;
served by the same bartender;
but each to a different drinker.
Let go let go;
The pony is here;
to take us for that promised ride.
Into the heart of Mankind.
And the guide sniggers;
mockingly says:"WELCOME TO MANKIND"
